What is a “Festival of Transformation”?

The Festival of Transformation is a learning and knowledge sharing platform for digital transformation in healthcare and social care. It offers articles, video talks and presentations, events and a knowledge exchange, along with communities of practice where you can discuss issues and solutions around specific subject areas.

Who Owns the Festival of Transformation?

The Festival of Transformation is a collaboration between the Scottish Government and COSLA.

Where Does the Content on the Festival of Transformation Site Come From?

The articles, videos and events are user-contributed, so they come from digital transformation professionals. Some content is contributed by the Scottish Government and COSLA. Please let us know if you would like to contribute a video or an article!

Is The Festival of Transformation Only for Healthcare and Social Care in Scotland?

No! We believe that sharing knowledge and experience in the field of digital transformation benefits healthcare and social care anywhere, so the Festival of Transformation is open to all digital transformation professionals.

What’s the Connection with the Scottish Government/COSLA Digital Maturity Assessment?

The Festival of Transformation was developed by the same team as the Digital Maturity Assessment and inspired by findings from the assessment suggesting that many organisations in healthcare and social care faced similar challenges without a way of sharing insights, experiences and learning.

Is The Festival of Transformation Free?

Yes it is.

What is the Knowledge Exchange and When Will It Go Live?

The Knowledge Exchange is a marketplace where digital transformation professionals can offer their knowledge in specific areas that might be useful to others, or ask for help with challenges they’re working on. The marketplace lets users make contact anonymously to see if they can help each other. We expect this section to go live in the next few weeks. If you have a ‘help offered’ or ‘help wanted’ topic you’d like us to include when this feature launches, please contact us!

What are Communities of Practice and When Will They Go Live?

Communities of Practice are forums for specific issues, topics or challenges. Users can join forums, contribute to discussions and learn from others engaged in the same subject. The intention is to make a public discussion forum available that others working on similar topics can find, access and contribute to.
