The Festival of Transformation needs to be focused on the people doing the work day-to-day. We are looking for articles and workshops from anyone working on digital transformation in health and social care, whether you’re in Scotland or further afield. If you’ve been involved in the Scottish Government / COSLA Digital Maturity Assessment at any level, we’d love to hear about how you incorporated the submission or the results into your wider work. If you haven’t but still have something to interesting to say, please get in touch!
What we’re looking for
Articles (around 500 words). Case studies, experience reports, lessons learned, or just a clear view on something you’ve seen up close. Plain language is welcome. You don’t need to be an expert, just honest about what worked and what didn’t.
Workshops (30 or 60 minutes, online). Practical sessions where people leave with something they can use. Tell us who it’s for, what they’ll do, and what they’ll take away.
Topics we’d love to hear about
- The Scottish Government / COSLA Digital Maturity Assessment; how did you co-ordinate your submission internally and how are you using the results?
- AI and large language models in everyday health and social care work
- Innovation: getting good ideas adopted and spread
- Getting staff on board, and what gets in the way
- Anything else from your own digital journey that others could learn from
How to submit
Email sg@dma.works by with:
- Your name and role
- A short summary of your idea (around 150 words)
- Whether it’s an article or a workshop
Our editorial team will get back to you within 5 working days. Contributing is free, like everything else on the Festival of Transformation.
Not sure if your idea fits? Send it anyway. We’d rather hear from you.
