Chris Mackie shares his experience of participanting in the External Stakeholder Project Group for the Digital Maturity Assessment and how he represented the third sector in the development of the assessment question set.

Marion Logan discusses the background to the current Scottish Government / COSLA Digital Maturity Assessment, how digital transformation has changed since 2019 against the backdrop of a global pandemic, using the DMA to measure investment and what she sees as the benefits to organisations.

While Capabilities improvements were seen across most participating areas, 2024 Readiness scores (dark green bubbles) were less consistent than in 2023 (light green bubbles). Some health and care systems/geographic areas (each represented by a bubble) progressed more rapidly than others.

Readiness sections saw consistent improvements, while gains within Capabilities varied.
