Background

The Festival of Transformation is a new digital multi-media learning and development platform bringing together people to share experiences and insights about digital transformation in delivery of health and social care.

The Festival of Transformation helps participants achieve their objectives and overcome obstacles on their digital transformation journey by providing access to know-how, others who can provide relevant experience, and peers with whom journeys can be shared.

Contributing Content

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Festival of Transformation! We have put together some key information for you below:

  • Festival of Transformation content includes both written and video content
  • Written content is generally held in a blog style; within the limitations of this format, any kind of content is welcome, be it experience reports, formal papers, or something else!
  • Video content will generally be limited to 5-10 minutes run time. We are hoping to offer regular contributions in the form of individual (single speaker) talks and presentations, interviews run by our interviewer, and group talks.
  • We are making a detailed guideline for producing video content for the Festival of Transformation site and this will become available shortly.
  • Our editors will be available to assist with content production – please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
  • We will require your consent to our use of your content, and we will make a consent declaration template available shortly.

Which of the following options best describes the format/medium you’d prefer to use?
In the style of an “ask me anything” (AMA); every participant will receive the same questions to answer.
You’ll record your own video using our detailed, easy to understand instructions, for example with a webcam or your phone. You don’t need to worry about making mistakes and your video can be across several files – you can submit editing notes together with your filmed material.
You’ll record your content on audio, for example with your computer microphone or your phone. Please note this may be transcribed and published as a blog post / text. You don’t need to worry about making mistakes and your video can be across several files – you can submit editing notes together with your recorded material.
Our interviewer will speak with you at a pre-agreed time either remotely or in person. You don’t need to worry about recording the conversation – our interviewer will handle this part. Topics and questions can be agreed and discussed prior to recording.
You’ll write your own content, whether an experience report, white paper, opinion piece or other. Our editors are on hand to help with structure and content if you wish.
We may occasionally put together several individuals for a group discussion on a particular topic. Those discussions may be held inperson or remotely. Tick here if you’re interested in this format and would like to be notified of upcoming group discussions.
