With the completion of our data validation exercise for the 2024 update to the Scottish Government / COSLA Digital Maturity Assessment, and a fresh 2025 update nearly finalised, the Scottish health and social care sector is now in a unique position – for the first time, organizations completing the assessment can leverage time series data to analyse trends in their ongoing digital transformation. This provides invaluable insights into their speed and direction of travel on the journey towards digital maturity.
While the assessment captures a snapshot of digital transformation within an organisation at a specific point in time, it truly reflects an ongoing process of change. Being able to plot this change over time empowers users to better strategise and optimize their resources.
